The nature of this blog is to be musically eclectic (hence the name), so that's why every once in a while we try to post something completely different. That's exactly what this post is. Bon Iver is an indie folk band, and one of Justin Vernon’s current and most notable music projects to date. The name ‘Bon Iver’ (pronounced “bon ee-VAIR”) is a play on the French phrase ‘bon hiver;’ for ‘good winter’.
And 'good winter' kinda says it all.. Soulful and melancholic songs, slightly similar to artists such as Patrick Watson and Mumford & Sons. The complete opposite of the summer vibes we post these days, but this album is beautiful! Let us know what you think of this and if we should post more similar music - or not.
