Sup MS, Halftime is back!! Hope you haven't missed me too much. Its been awhile but happy to see MS is still up and still a growing community. Im gonna try to post a few gems a couple times a week. For those who don't know my taste of music i have plenty of comps on the blog and try to put these together so you can get an idea of what i dig in music, hopefully you guys dig em... Lets hope 2011 has some dope releases, and im still gonna hit you with that older hip-hop ish. I am a dj (dj shift) who still spins vinyl (sometimes serato) I also lay down cuts for (local philadelphia) hip-hop artists Citizen Xavier, Ill at Ease and Profess. I dabble in production and sampling, but mostly keep my ear to the streets (and the net.) I try to spread music around for you and yours, and feedback is appreciated.

A Half, Update

Whats going on>?

So this being my 300th post on MS, I would like to get an idea of how you guys are liking the post in the last few months. Some people have noticed a change of music since i joined up last may. Now that i have posted around 215 albums, 30 dj mixes, 20 VLS, and now 20 halftime comps, along with around 15 group compilations, you guys have a solid understanding of what i listen to, and will try to continue to posted. 2009 hasn't been full of decent jazzy hip-hop albums (unlike 06-08), so that is why i have ventured through the years, with the post. When Heaps, asked me to join up, there was no question in my mind that i wanted to enter myself into a great community, and now that the forum has been running for half a year now, that too is a success, we are almost at 300 members and growing. I have heard request on the forum for more Soul and R&B type material, so this month ill will try to fulfill that, as well as try to look for your request in the c-box. As you all know heaps has his plate pretty full with the FIND MAGAZINE, and MS/Forum, I hope you havent thought MS has fallen off at any point in the last half year.

Also let me thanks my mates Heaps, MEC, Kaya and Tenki for the great post you guys have done too. Our friends over at beatboxradio, blakslair, and Sunrisesintheeast. The members of our forum, who really help that place bump, Bjorn-Z, Benevolent, Lost Cauze, Bluestarr, Bobj42 & Westgoogle. Thanks guys...
