Here in Holland we know Hans Teeuwen as a damn great comedian, but right now he's focussing on his other passion: jazz. And I gotta say, it's really good as well!

He hooked up with Benjamin Herman and others for this album. No semi-funny tracks, but overall pretty nice jazz with some rock influences here and there.

Very nice to find new goodness from the Netherlands (where I'm from)!!! It's the debut by Animalistic (Korhymes & SB), heavily influenced by the 90's with "basslines, horns and raw drum breaks sampled from old jazz records". Need I say more? The vocals are in English, so no weird language or 'zachte G's' for all foreign listeners.

I'm sorry to say this, but Nujabes died in a fatal car accident last month. The news got confirmed by Hydeout Productions, Shing02 and others... R.I.P!

For real, without Nujabes there wouldn't be Musical Schizophrenia or The Find Magazine. He introduced me (and I am sure I speak on behalf of the other authors as well) to jazzy/japanese Hip Hop. He made me love the genre, he made me realize there's more than the boom bap sound I like(d). Nujabes is a true legend and this is a big loss for music...

I know how many people on here love his music, so I am sure this comes as a big shock to all of you. Let's pay hommage to Nujabes by listening to his music today, because I am sure his music will live forever.
