‘Soundtrack To Insomnia’ is a collection of tracks to listen to when you want to chill out, as background music for your powernaps or even if you just wanna hear some good mellow music. Falling asleep thanks to music is often a bad effect, but with this selection it should be positive. No dolphin sounds or audio of a rippling river, but music you’ll love!
The mix starts off with fairly uptempo songs, representing the first phase of insomnia; surviving a few days without sleep enjoying ‘afterparty-alike’ songs. Followed by the frustration in ‘I Can’t Go To Sleep’ by Wu-Tang Clan and trying to mellow out after that with artists such as Jamie XX, Nocow & Nicolas Jaar. Throughout the mix the insomnia kicks in harder, resulting in some depressing ambient vibes.
