Interview: The Sound Providers

I am sure I don't have to tell you guys who The Sound Providers are. If you don't know them, you are missing out on some of the best jazz-orientated productions if you ask me.

Unfortunately we haven't heard from Soulo and Jay Skills since 2006, so I was afraid they'd never make music again. Well, this year they are back with a new 7" record - and more to come!

After a 4 year hiatus The Find Magazine hooks up with 'sound provider' Soulo to talk about the new 7" record, upcoming projects, the 'break up' with emcee Profile, collecting vinyl, producing music, the current scene and much more. Read here.

Another great album that's lost on an older page. I am listening a lot to The Sound Providers nowadays; amazing music! This album is one together with the skilled MC Surreal. Another Jazzy hip hop-album you shouldn't miss!

Ahh, why did I forgot about this?? Thought I posted this a while back, but I didn't. GREAT album by some great musicians: Surreal and The Sound Providers (Profile, Soulo & J. Skills). Jazzy productions by J. Skills and some nice lyricism by Surreal!

Because I post quite a lot, some great albums got overflooded with other albums. In "Don't Sleep On..." I digg up an album that you really should check out. This time it's an album by The Sound Providers. A great group with great (jazzy) productions. I listen to this daily, you should do the same; it's great!!
