Jimmy Smith made the organ an essential part of modern-jazz combo. In his early years in New York, his lightning-fast approach defined the instrument's role with unprecedented success. from inside sleeve -- recorded live at the future primitive sound session, may 25th 1997, in the heart of the San Francisco underground. All effects and mixes were unrehearsed and improvised on five turntables by cut chemist and dj shortkut. The audience was unintentionally recorded thought the styluses. The Future primitive is an ongoing underground event dedicated towards bringing about the evolution of hip-hop and dj culture.

this mix was the first time i had heard cut chemist. I was familiar with the invisible skractch pickles, but this raised my respect for a live act consisting of only dj's, and would set chemist on making lots of these types of mixes, such as brainfreeze. This would is truely a dope mix, the first of the FP series.

FINALLY!! I've been looking for this for AGES.

I went to a People Under The Stairs show in (I think) 2006 with GP as support act. I met Maanumental of GP before the show. Really cool dude, but didn't know their music back then. He offered me to buy the Fresh Donuts bootleg for 5 euro's, but I rejected that offer. Didn't know their music and hadn't got a lot of money.

After seeing their show, I was blown away. Without a doubt I afforded a signed copy of Fly School Reunion, but I was too late to buy Fresh Donuts - they just sold the last copy.

Since then I'm an instant fan, with Fly School Reunion in my top 5 (maybe even top 3). Electric Laser was also a good listen, but slightly dissapointing after their classic debut. Eager to hear more of them, I collected featured tracks on albums as S1's Moving Along, DJ Alibi's One Day and others. Can't wait to catch the train and listen to this exclusive EP/bootleg :)

Corner's 94' is only on the original first pressing of the Funcrusher Lp. Amazing, cant believe they didnt put that track on the re-issue earlier this month? Nas unreleased, more jazzy type track, and Fel Swetenburg dope Illmind remix of Lost Children. Hope this mix can hold you down for awhile. I am aware of the problem with mediafire and how it doesn't work in some parts of the world. I have checked all my link and they are all go, never been a problem when i tried, but have some comments that they were down?. I dont know why sometimes the links, go down or don't appear, but as for uploading files for free, mediafire is the best place i know to upload. No ads, pretty fast download speed and for me reliable. For those who want rapidshare, I'm not a fan, mainly because im not a member. RS has a 20 limit download for non-premium members. So for now ill stick with MF, and if someone wants to hook me up with a RS account ill switch it up. Hope you guys still dig the post of late, and make sure to join at the new forum, drop some request & ill try to fulfill them.

On another note, I know this isn't the forum, but lets get some more feedback, I have around 18,000 downloads total and like 0.01% of feedback. I spend lots of time posting these albums, and extra long compiling mixes and comps, and I know Heaps and the rest of the team spend their extra time here so too, a simple thank you is sufficent, so lets use those comment boxes (and the c-box), MS fam.
