Lil Sci (aka John Robinson), ID 4 Windz & Inspector willabee make up Scienz of Life. SOL are an extremely slept on group, originally from NY but moved to New Jersey and represent everything that is positive, truthful and real about one’s self and hip-hop. They don't talk about guns, or where they from, or what block they represent…they’ve stayed loci on the hip-hop scene and MC about what is essentially food for thought. Diggin in the archives is a compilation cd of all rare 12’s, unreleased & even new tracks…from the group and it doesn’t fail to disappoint. Even though it is a compilation of tracks it still passes as a great album.
This type of hip-hop SOL brings isn't for everyone, similiar to that ruff & raw feel that groups like company flow and mhz brought to fondle' em records of the mid 90's.
Posting this for heads who havent gotten into John Robinson, yet. Project Mooncircle has signed him a few years ago and has released alot of material since being there. Next up is the first Scienz of Life album in five years "Leviation". Cant wait, should be out any day now.
