And, after our previous post, King Moo was kind enough to share the actual brand new album!! Thanks!
"After weighing all options for the release of our third full-length studio album, Cinemetropolis, we’ve decided to forego all traditional channels and return to the independent approach that made Blue Scholars who we are. No record label. No marketing and distribution deal. No middlemen. No bullsh*t.
Cinema has always played a major influence in Blue Scholars music, and this collection of songs is the most complete expression of that source of inspiration. During the creation of this collection of songs, an idea emerged: how does music influence cinema?"

Been looking forward to this!! Thanks a bunch and congrats on 3 years!
I'm from Seattle, like Blue Scholars. They released this album independent from any label, fundraising from their fans who in turn were rewarded with an advance digital copy of the album a few days ago. Maybe it's just because they're close to my heart, but this doesn't feel right. Take the link down. If you go to Bluescholars.com you can get the album for $10 and it goes straight to the Geo and Sabzi, no middlemen.
Also, the album is incredible.
I was surprised to see this. Thank you!
@Ans: I know what you mean, but that'd mean we should take this entire Musical Schizophrenia blog down.. All artists put in work and effort, so it's hard to make exceptions for some. If people won't download it here, they will google and find it on another blog.
Lots of MS people here (pre-)ordered the album (see the comment box) and we put a 'SUPPORT' link to the post, so I can guarantee you people will and did support Blue Scholars!! Maybe with this we introduce even some more people to the great BS.
Speaking of which, Sabzi in an interview with The Find Magazine on downloading:
"I think it’s great. The more the music gets out there, the better. At this point it’s really up to the listener if they want to pay for music or not. Either way, as long as the music is out there, bootlegged or bought, I’m for it."

;) Thanks for dropping your thoughts though!!
@Heaps: Fair enough dude!
Here's one of my favorite tracks... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mlZWDl09bl0
About the campaign..
".. In total, the campaign raised $62,391 with the help of 2243 backers each pitching in an average of roughly $28.[24]"
I hope they got every penny!
Next time Sabz, Geologic and RA Scion need to get an album with all three of them doing their thing.
