One to please my fellow Dutchies, although it doesn't really matter if you speak Dutch: it's good music nonetheless (some Dutch tracks, some songs with English vocals). Quite hard to find, so enjoy!
L'abbatoir is a one time only project by Sticks (Opgezwolle/Fakkelbrigade, Dutch hip hop), Joppe (Voicst, Indie/Rock band), Sjam (Boemklatsch/Nobody Beats The Drum, Electro from Holland), Maurits (GEM, Indie/Rock), Daan (zZz, organ/drum rock) and vocalist Thomas Azier.
They made a trip together to Marocco for the musical project 'In A Cabin With'. In this project, several artists (who've never worked together) collaborate on music in another country. The surprising collaboration L'abbatoir, jam sessions and mash up of styles, result in this album.
